Commissions are open. 6-30-08: 6/10 slots filled

Journal Entry: Mon Jun 30, 2008, 6:46 PM
Edit: Guys, really. When sending me a note you do NOT have to make sure commissions are open. I will announce when they are closed or tell you if they're unavailable in my reply. And I always need references, unless its a character I've drawn before. I'm not saying this to be a pill but this isn't hard.

Note: If you haven't recieved your commission from the last round yet, don't panic! I haven't forgetten! I'm just setting up the next round while I finish up the first.

(Note that all prices are on a per figure basis. Don't feel shy about asking for things other than inflation however)

Prices:

Inked sketch: $15 (no example, but you can probably figure out what it'd look like)

Cel-shaded: $20 Example: [link]

Painted: $25 Example: [link]

Backgrounds:

cel-shaded: $10
painted: $15

Here is all you need to include in your initial note. You do NOT need to ask me if slots are available as I will always announce in my journal when commissions have closed:

Description of the pic, including subject, size, and pose. Include what CG style you want as well as if you'd like a background included in the picture. I will always confirm the price for you, but please be sure you know the cost of what you're asking for beforehand.

If you're taking out multiple commissions, please include descriptions for each picture. If you have multiple ideas but are only taking out one, please just send the idea you're going with.

Further Rules

You must have references of some sort handy. If I have to go by description only I may tack on a five dollar design fee. I will always let you know if that is the case however and either give you time to find references or to choose something else.

Pay Pal only. Sorry, but its the easiest way for me to accept payment. No exceptions.

Half of the cost is required up front. This is ensure your slot and give me incentive to finish on good time. Although I only require half, if you can pay full upfront that is appreciated due to paypal fees.

Turn around time will be anywhere from one week to one month. The more detail needed, the longer an image will take. So if you're looking to have something done fast be conservative in the amount of detail in your chosen subject.

No reserves or I . O . U s. I can only hold a slot for people waiting on cash for one week and I will never begin work until I've been paid the down cost.

No vore or furries or lumpy mashed potato women. Sorry, but those are the only things I absolutely will NOT draw.

If interested, contact me via note or on AIM at rollingcutman

Today, we'll be discussing how to be annoying in general. Today's annoying thing:

Change your name to "John Aaaaaaaaaaaasmith" to be first in the phone book. Say it's Hawaiian and insist people pronounce each A.

I was COMPLETELY out of line. I was just angry at your response to a seemingly innocent comment, and I can't stand people who do things like that.

....I'm really sorry I called you a jerk, Cutter.... I was having a rough day, that's all. I... I'm really sorry.... I say stupid things sometimes, I don't know what else to say.

While I admit my the tone of my comment was dickish I think my basic qualm is justified, that is that the statement made was more "this isn't to my liking" and less "this is wrong". If people have genuine critisism to make about my work then by all means, they're free to make it.

Except you, you called me a jerk. Bugger of.

Sorry I don't always draw the facial expressions you like to see. Really. Super sorry.
~Supakitsune:iconSupakitsune: Jun 24, 2008, 11:45:54 PM
I really like your art, but...
there's just one qualm I have with some of your pieces.

Sometimes, the piece looks perfect... until it comes to the face portion. The face looks sort of like a scrunched-up "shocked" face, and it kinda throws the mood of the image off...

Just something I wanted to mention. Feel free to take it as you will.

First you draw a circle, then you add the eyes. Add a great big smile and presto, it's Kirby!
